Maddy L2023-11-06Bachelorette but make it historical such an incredible trip with friends made even better by amazing tours. Our tour guide, Yannick, was so passionate and knowledgeable on all the subjects he shared. Having stories & images to go along with the events made it very vivid. Thanks for the beautiful tours!will b2023-11-01Excellent time with HQcompany tours in Bayeux I had an excellent time with Pierre! He was an excellent tour guide and thoroughly explained every historical detail about the sites we visited. Not to mention he was an excellent storyteller and a good mate to be around. I hope to visit Bayeux again one day.SamGamgee2023-10-21Really likeable, well organised and informative guide We came as a group of 8 persons in a minibus. Mickael Patin was our guide on a tour from 9.00 to 4.45 (our finish time because of other commitments) to visit the American beaches and airborne sites. We found him to be a good communicator, explaining key points clearly with good illustrations, able to answer our questions, giving us the right amount of space at different locations, finding a good spot for a sandwich lunch on a Saturday out of season, bringing us back bang on time and above all likeable, relaxed and willing to chat. A moving and absorbing day. We recommend him without hesitation. A general point about the Normandy D day sites is that there is a tremendous amount you can see - 5 beaches plus Pegasus stretched over 60 miles with the sites themselves plus memorials, museums and very moving cemeteries. A guide tailors what you can see to the time you have so that you are not overloaded and get the most out of your visit. Mickael certainly did that.Bill M2023-10-21D Day Battle Tour This tour was for five days and a recap to our tour last year, Yannick Sterk was wonderful and very knowledgeable for our private tour, he gave us the highlights of the World War 2 Invasion, the American Veterans Cemetery and the details that captivated us, the tank battles the bunkers the beaches were all so fascinating and educational, the tour van was exceptional and comfortable, the restaurants were outstanding, the French cosine was great, I highly recommend this experience to anyone that wants history and detail.Greg F2023-10-19Wonderful, informative tour of the D-Day landing areas. I have been wanting to tour the D-Day beaches for quite some time and finally got the opportunity. The HQ Company Tour guide, Yannick, was incredibly knowledgeable about World War II history in general and D-Day in particular. The maps and photos he used as visual aids were very helpful in understanding what was going on. His stories added much to enrich the experience of being in a hallowed place in history. If you are going to Normandy, I highly recommend that you take this tour.M L2023-10-13Excellent all day tour of D-Day beaches, air museum, American cemetery! Michael was an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly guide and driver. He went out of his way to address areas we were interested in. We were two couples and a single man on the all day tour from 0900-1730. His knowledge of history and familiarity with Omaha and Utah beaches made the events come to life. He used historical photos and maps very effectively to demonstrate what took place. Definitely highly recommend Michael and his company. Very dedicated to providing an excellent memorable experience.Sam T2023-10-10Could Not Have Asked For More Gwen toured us for a full day of the invasion museums, relics, and locations. It was one of the best tours we have taken. Gwen is happy, totally knowledgeable, flexible, and left us with a deep sense that we had indeed experienced the places and the memories of very special people back then in 1944. A++james h2023-10-09The best way to see the Normandy beaches Our personal guide Gwen was a walking encyclopedia when it came to any question we had regarding Normandy, its beaches and history. He took us to all the spots with close parking and access to these significant and very memorable locations of the D day. Gwen finished our tour by positioning us at the US cemetery for the lowering of the American flags. If he wasn’t driving us, we would’ve asked him to join us for a glass of wine .Laurie H2023-10-08Take this tour! This was an excellent tour. Yanis clearly has a passion for the area. Not only is he an expert on Mont Saint-Michel but he has so much knowledge on WWII, so the trip to MSM is loaded with all the WWII stories you'd like. Plus he is a really interesting and fun person. I was lucky enough to do a different tour with Yanis' team mate, Pierre. I was very grateful for the work and planning they have put into their tours.Laurie H2023-10-08Take this Tour This was an excellent tour. Pierre clearly has a passion for the topic and had interesting stories about different homes and area as we traveled the steps of Easy Company. He came with graphics, stories and knowledge.
