Day 1
Giverny & Rouen
Transfer from Paris to Normandy while stopping in Giverny to visit Claude Monet’s house and famous garden. En route, you will enjoy a walking tour in the city of Rouen to enjoy the wonders of a lively city with an exceptional heritage
Day 2
Honfleur
and the Auge Valley. Explore the bucolic countryside through a scenic drive on the cider road, discover the Normandy cheeses, ciders and Calvados. Finally, enjoy the preserved city of Honfleur, favored destination of many painters in the 19th century
Day 3
D-Day Tour
You will have an overview of the different battlefields where the Allies were involved on the beaches of Normandy. Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, Longues-sur-Mer gun battery and the artificial Harbor in Arromanches.
Day 4
Mont-Saint-Michel
Drive to the Mont Saint-Michel to visit the 1300 years old Abbey classed as a Unesco site and its incredible medieval village in the middle of a wide bay.
Day 5
Bayeux
You will start the day with a walking tour in Bayeux to discover the charms of a preserved town in Normandy. Before a transfer back to Paris, a short stop in the Bayeux tapestry museum will allow you to discover an incredible piece. The Bayeux Tapestry tells the epic story, in wool thread embroidered on linen cloth, of William, Duke of Normandy who became King of England in 1066 after the Battle of Hastings.
